Edersheim - The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah - This is a classic work on the person of Christ and if it is not in your library then it should be. Edersheim taces the life of Christ and sets it in the context of the Judaism  giving many interesting insights about Jewish life and society of the time. He describes the Saviour beautifully and this work is very helpful in appreciating a little more this matchless one.
