Gospel simply means 'good news'.We believe the Bible is the inspired message of God to mankind. The Bible presents the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God who came to reveal the Father and by his death, burial and resurrection made possible the forgiveness of sins. This message is proclaimed in the Gospel and made effective in the personal experience of the individual by the Holy Spirit, is the only message of salvation for man. Forgiveness of sins and Eternal life are God's free gifts to all who by faith receive the Christ Jesus as Saviour and confess Him as Lord. The New Testament teaches Baptism by immersion for believers only. "The Gospel of Christ ... is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth." Rom. 1:16
